A walk down to Nissaki Beach or harbour takes about 15 minutes walk. The best way to explore the beautiful North East coast is to hire a boat – you can get a discount from Agni Boats based in Agni.
In addition, Nissaki has amazing small beaches with clear blue sea. Visitors have the chance to feel the traditional lifestyle mingle with locals, shop fresh seasonal products, walk in nature, enjoy tasty local specialities at cosy family -run tavernas some of which are ideal situated close to waterfront, like Taverna Glyfa which is specialising in local cuisine and fresh fishes and it has it’s own jetty for mooring up to, or by car which is only 5 minutes driving.
Also you can visit Agni bay, that remained uniquely unspoilt, and has really nice tavernas to visit only 10 minutes drive. Kalami(home of the Durrels) is another destination that you must not miss it, 15 minutes drive. San Stefanos with its beach side tavernas is only 20 minutes drive.
For a little excitement, nightlife and shoping you can visit the largest town nearby which is the lively resort and fishing harbour of Kassiopi, 25 minutes drive. Also worthwhile is a drive to the mountain village of Perithea, once abandoned but now slowly being restored.
